What is yoga
Yoga is an ancient practice that originated in India. Yoga consists of 8 limbs. Most people in the United States practice the third limb, Asana or posture. Through a Yoga Asana practice, one will increase flexibility and range of movement, lubricate joints, increase balance, massage all organs, detoxify and flush toxins, tone the muscles, boost energy and strengthen mental clarity.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga is a fluid yoga practice that links the breath with each movement. Vinyasa yoga is a challenging practice open to every students. Modifications will be shown for all levels of students. Each class will be tailored to individual student’s needs. This class will work every layer of the body, from the physical to the mental and energetic layers. As the class progresses from gross to subtle, students will work on core strength, flexibility, centering and relaxation.
Pricing: $65/month. Each additional class with same instructor: $40/month. First classes will start 7/11 and include 8/1)

Prenatal Yoga
Wednesdays 11am- 12noon
Prenatal yoga provides the opportunity for women to deepen their connection with their innate wisdom of mother, their bodies, babies, and other pregnant women in the community. Specific poses will be taught to strengthen pelvic muscles, open the hips and alleviate common prenatal discomforts such as sciatica, back pain, leg cramps, circulation, varicose veins, and swelling. Yogic breathing (pranayama) will be taught to assist in restoring energy, balancing emotions and preparing for birth. Class is designed and taught suitable for all stages of pregnancy.
**No prior yoga experience necessary.

Brianne Wright, RYT
Brianne has been teaching yoga in the Denver community for over four years. Her teaching blends the styles that have influenced her throughout her own practice, ranging from gentle to power. Brianne currently is registered with Yoga Alliance and has been certified with AAAI, Inner Connections (Yoga Alliance accredited), Hansa Knox/Prenatal Yoga. She is excited to join the fantastic team at Body Statement and to be offering Vinyasa and Prenatal Yoga.

The emphasis for this class is to provide a fun high-intensity workout in your fat burning zone, while working all major muscle groups using a variety of exercises. This is the perfect class for anyone who wishes to increase your strength or improve your cardiovascular. All levels welcome!

Red Rocks FULL BODY BLAST Workout
Fee: $65 for 1 month of 1 class (4 sessions) or $20 walk-in fee
Sundays 8-9 am
Join in on this fun, high intense workout in the beautiful setting of Red Rocks Amphitheater.
If you've always wanted to define your legs & tighten your glutes this class is for you!
This is a full body workout that combines aerobic and anaerobic training for optimal fat burning.
All levels welcome!
Meet at the top of Red Rocks amphitheatre 7:50am. Bring water (to hydrate), your heart rate monitor (if you have one) and make sure to wear at least SPF 15 Sunscreen.
